The opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup on Friday 18 September 2015 is likely to have significant implications for local traffic as sections of the A316 will be closed to traffic from 4:00 pm on that day until approximately 11:45 pm. This will affect some of our school bus routes and also other forms of transport in the local area.
We have contacted The Lady Eleanor Holies School (LEH) and have decided that we (Hampton, Denmead and LEH) will close the schools at 3:00 pm on Friday 18 September 2015 so that vehicles are able to leave before the traffic gets heavier. We would like to ask you in advance to make suitable allowance for your child's early arrival at home on that day. jugis
